Guide to Food Licensing
Brisbane City Council is hosting a series of free 15 minute sessions to help local food businesses and prospective food business operators to understand their food safety requirements for operating, monitoring, and managing their food business under the Eat Safe Brisbane Scheme.
These free weekly sessions provide an opportunity to speak face-to-face with a Council Environmental Health Officer, to ask any questions you may have about how the Eat Safe Brisbane Scheme and food safety requirements related to your business.
Please note that no formal presentation will be given. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees, sessions are by appointment only.

Talk to a Business Liaison Officer
Business Liaison Officers are here to support businesses right across Brisbane to start, run and grow. These free weekly sessions provide an opportunity to speak face-to-face with a Council Business Liaison Officer who can provide you with information on Council’s various business support programs including training and development programs, workshops, and business networking events. They can also provide information on the various ways that you can connect with Council to stay up to date with the latest business programs and opportunities. Please note, no formal presentation will be given, and these sessions are by appointment only.

Talk to a Procurement Officer
Brisbane City Council is committed to working with local businesses. These free monthly sessions provide an opportunity to speak face-to-face with Council’s Strategic Procurement Office representative who can provide you with information about various aspects of working with Council including how Council buys, tender process, and Better Brisbane Proposals.

Brisbane City Council is hosting a series of free Networking in the Suburbs sessions. These events are designed to bring local businesses together to connect and network with other Brisbane business owners and operators.
We encourage small, micro, and home-based businesses and entrepreneurs to interact and network to build relationships within their local business community.
These sessions are one of the ways that Council is planning for a growing city by backing small businesses with more support in the suburbs.

Webinars
Brisbane City Council works with hundreds of suppliers to help deliver goods and services to Brisbane residents. These forums support local businesses that are interested in tendering for work to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and innovative goods and services. These forums are informational only and there will be no opportunity to demonstrate or promote your goods and services. Registration is open to all current and prospective small, medium, and large suppliers, including business owners and business development managers.
