On July 25, 2023, Queensland Government announced that over the next 9 years they will be procuring over $180 billion of goods and services from the private sector leading up to the 2032 Olympic games.
Queensland State Government have also announced that 30% of everything they buy from this $180 billion pool must be purchased from small and medium-sized businesses – with preference going to Queensland-based businesses under the ‘Buy Queensland Policy’.
