About Diana Gueorguieva, CCIQ International Trade and Strategic Relationships Manager
Diana has more than 20 years of experience in international trade, business development and management experience in her current role at CCIQ.
Over the last 20 years, Diana has also had a hand in helping Queensland businesses achieve offshore success by providing trade advice, assisting with overseas market research, strategy development, export marketing planning and implementation and finding potential business partners overseas. Diana’s key interest is the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) Australia has in place with other countries and is passionate about assisting businesses to benefit from these FTAs.
About Trent Barratt, Australian Customs Professionals Managing Director
Trent Barratt is an International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker with more than 28 years of experience in International Trade. Trent gained extensive experience with a large German Freight forwarder attending exclusive management schools in Europe. After attaining his Customs Brokers Licence at the age of 23, Trent went on to become one of the youngest Managers in the German Freight Forwarder before expanding his knowledge into Global Express freight and co-founding Australian Customs Professionals. Trent worked in the management team co-ordinating with the AOC and IOC for the exclusive handling of the Sydney 2000 Olympics. In 2011 Trent’s company acquired Queensland Customs Brokers and used this to expand the business into specialised fields including Mining, Oil and Gas and Infrastructure projects. As a leading contributor and member of Air and Ocean Partners and C5C global trading alliances, QCB has been a key partner in international trade, partnering with major Oil and Gas suppliers.
About Reginald Roberts, Trade and Investment Queensland Southern Regional Network Manager
Reg Roberts is the Manager for Trade & Investment Queensland’s Southern Regional Network as part of the Queensland Operations team which works directly with businesses across the state to support them on their export journey. With over 20 years of experience in the recreation industry throughout Australia and the USA Reg is a highly experienced, credentialed, and respected leader, and project manager program coordinator. He has developed strategic projects spanning community, events, sporting, and industry development.
About Adam Pearce, Export Finance Australia Business Development Director
Adam Pearce joined Export Finance Australia in 2016 and is the Director for, SME, QLD and NT. Adam is responsible for delivering financial solutions to Queensland based export businesses. Adam has 21 years of Business Banking, Corporate banking experience throughout QLD, focusing on managing customers across diverse industries including professional services, real estate, advanced manufacturing, engineering, natural resources, tourism and ASX listed companies.
Prior to joining Export Finance Australia, Adam was Specialist Corporate and Property Manager, responsible for generating new business and providing tailored solutions to a diversified portfolio of clients with a turnover up to $500m and lending to $250m
Outside of work, Adam is an active member of the community being a Rural Firer Fighter and Coach with Royal Life Saving Associations and the founder of #save1000lives – promoting individuals to actively donate blood, plasma, and platelets with the Australian Red Cross.
