Join CCIQ’s HR expert Robert Hall-Bowmen and Occupational Therapist Nicole Hughes for a practical workshop on creating a happy and safe workplace.

The workshop will cover a range of topics relevant to all businesses no matter what shape, industry, or size, including:

• Knowing what policies to have in place, how to implement them, and the reasons why

• How to take an integrated approach to workplace mental health

• The risk management process

• Identifying psychosocial hazards

• Developing control measures

Also in attendance will be representatives from WorkCover, where you’ll have the chance to ask any questions about dealing with any incidents that may come up.

Nicole is a registered Occupational Therapist and Principal Advisor in the Psychological Health Unit at Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. Nicole has over 16 years’ experience working in the area of workplace mental health with a particular interest in psychological safety, employee support, injury management, and early intervention.

About Robert Hall-Boman

Robert has over 9 years of experience working in the HR/IR field as an adviser to SMEs in the printing and publishing, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. Robert holds a Bachelor of Business (Industrial Relations, Human Resources).
