Abigail Chambers is the General Manager Human Resources at Brisbane Economic Development Agency and the facilitator of the workshop. Abi has more than 18 years HR experience in strategy and execution.

Jane Shand – General Manager People & Culture, National Storage

Jane Shand is the General manager – People and Performance at National Storage. She is a highly successful HR leader with strong experience across strategic and operational HR. Jane applies commercial acumen with a focus on collaboration to determine and achieve successful performance outcomes for organisations. With fifteen years experience working in senior Human Resources positions in small, medium and large organisations, Jane also has extensive experience working with boards and putting HR on the boardroom agenda.

Carolyn Grant GAICD – CEO, People Plus Science + Valid8 Innovations, Certified Chair

Meet Carolyn Grant, CEO of People Plus Science, Founder of 6peas marketing and Valid8 Innovations, and an Advisory Board Centre Certified Chair and GAICD. With over 20 years of experience in B2B and B2C strategies for growth, Carolyn is a seasoned Marketing and Organisational Strategist, author of the book Legacy Leadership & Australia’s first Boardroom Psychological Safety Research and Benchmark, and researcher focused on customer experience, neuroscience and human behaviour. People Plus Science exists to help leaders make good decisions with positive impact (oh and manage their reputational risk). We do this by providing leaders with the insights they need to identify their greatest risks and threats (around people and product and organisational behaviour) and turn this into their greatest achievement.
