When Burnout Becomes Reality

Burnout is something most of us have gone through or will go through during our career.

In this workshop, we will explore essential knowledge and tools for burnout. Doing so will equip you to tend to yourselves and others as a first step to prevention or recovery from burnout.

The workshop is interactive—an immersion into the therapy experience with a trained psychologist. By attending, you will feel empowered to take the necessary next steps to get help for your burnout, or be able to help others do the same.

By the end of the workshop, you will:

  • Be able to identify whether you or others are suffering from burnout syndrome
  • Get to know yours or other people’s warning signs of burnout
  • Acknowledge the potential toll of burnout on your life and business
  • Know what steps to take towards recovery/prevention from burnout for yourself and others

PRESENTER

About Shannon Swales, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Advocate, Burnout Lived-Experience, Vlogger/Blogger, Podcaster and Speaker

I am passionate about mental health care. In my lifetime, I want to see it become second nature for people to do what it takes to support their emotional and mental health. Most of us, no fault of our own, lack the necessary knowledge and skills to help support our mental health, leaving us vulnerable to mood and stress-related conditions. This was me, too, before studying psychology and receiving psychotherapy. I want to help everyone gain the required psychology knowledge and skills to thrive in life.
