About
Connie da Cunha is an Australian citizen, an award-winning project director and entrepreneur. She is highly regarded for generating innovative ideas and delivering complex projects and programs with State and National significance in Australia and overseas over the past 20 years across various industries such as infrastructure, information and communication technology, transport, logistics and supply chain, mining, renewable energy and, oil and gas.
With a background in accounting and computer science, Connie is a Certified Practising Project Director in Australia and has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology. She is the Lead Founder and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Australia Philippines and a Board Member of the Brisbane Lord Mayor Multicultural Business Round Table. Connie is also the Founder of the Iraq Australia Business Council Incorporated. Through her work, she is influential with heads of government and captains of industry and influential in trade policies.
Connie also acts as a consultant for the Queensland University of Technology, delivering three major nation-building training programs on behalf of the Philipines Government, Transport Management & Plan in 2018, Public Sector Project Management in 2019-21 and lastly, Contract Management in Public Private Partnership in 2020-21.
In June 2022, Connie was on an expert panel speaking on Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion for AASAM (Australia Awards South Asia and Mongolia) Building Cyber Resilience Course attended by high-level Bangladesh government officials and delivered by Queensland University of Technology.
Connie is actively participating in the start-up and innovation ecosystem in Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Iraq. She mentors business leaders and founders and invests in established start-up businesses with innovative ideas that solve day-to-day problems that positively impact people’s lives.
