In 2006, Michele founded Muro with his long time business partner and family friend, Canio Musciollo. While both viewed the many realms of accounting as somewhat of a fine art, they quickly realised that numbers held the key to unlocking success in all areas of business. After all, numbers don’t lie.
Michele is acutely aware that there are no shortcuts when it comes to finding success – only preparation, hard work and ultimately, bringing visions to life. It’s for this very reason that Muro Accounting has remained at the forefront of innovation, refusing to be “a bunch of accountants sitting in cubicles.” By having an in-depth knowledge of the Australian legal system, Michele has used this to empower and educate his clients, and takes great pride in his ability to coach them through the entire fundamentals of doing business in the digital age.
While a standard accountant may help consumers to set up a company before throwing them in the deep end, Michele and his team at Muro embrace modern accounting technology such as Xero, and are able to guide entrepreneurs to make smart and savvy financial decisions that ultimately help them to not only identify their goals – but to hit them out of the ballpark.
